Trans Baviaans MTB Repeat 19 August 2023 – Team Northstar Team Northstar” is a 2-man team of regular guys, but avid mountain bikers, who are riding the Trans Baviaans MTB Repeat on 19 August 2023. The team consists of Hennie van Eck and Marius Olivier. The Trans Baviaans is a 235km single stage / one day mountain bike race in the Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, from Willowmore to Jeffreys Bay, through the Baviaanskloof. The race is known as one of the toughest single stage races in the world. We would like to transform the lives of a few children by raising funds for the Smile Foundation, a not-for-profit foundation that assists children in need of plastic & reconstructive facial surgery. The average cost to repair a cleft lip or palate is R15 000 and we would like to raise sufficient funds to help at least two children.
