What began as a fun idea among a group of passionate mountain bikers has turned into a full-on adventure with purpose. Over four days, we’ll ride from Port Elizabeth through the wild beauty of the Baviaanskloof and Uniondale, before wrapping up with the iconic Karoo2Coast Challenge to Knysna.
The first three days will see us cover 95–115km per day, tackling serious climbs through mountainous terrain. Altogether, we’ll ride 420km and climb over 8,000m—an unforgettable test of endurance, determination, and teamwork.
But this challenge is about more than just the ride. We’re doing it to raise funds for the Smile Foundation, a South African non-profit dedicated to helping children living with facial abnormalities, burn injuries, and other medical conditions access the life-changing care they deserve.
For over 25 years, Smile Foundation has worked alongside 15 academic hospitals across South Africa, providing reconstructive surgery and specialist treatment to children from underserved communities. They’ve already helped more than 5,000 children—and with your support, we hope to help a few more.
All donations are tax-deductible and eligible for a Section 18A certificate.
