Dryland Traverse for the Smile Foundation – Ignatius Meyer

It is a great honor to be racing for the Smile foundation. Children with physical challenges, especially those who have suffered burns, hit close to home with our own little Bethany who burnt herself badly as a small baby. Although not assisted by the Smile Foundation, she received incredible help and care from fantastic medical professionals. Like my own daughter, all children deserve a chance to have their confidence restored and live without the constant reminder of a facial deformity or debilitating burn. The testimonials in the website tells the story of so many children’s transformations and by increasing awareness hopefully many more children’s lives can be changed.
