On July 21, 2023, Smile Foundation worked hard to secure an urgent referral for Arno Fouche who was born with a bilateral cleft lip and palate, to see Prof. Adams at Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital. On the appointed day, Smile Foundation met Arno, his parents, and healthcare professionals, where the treatment process was thoroughly explained. Arno’s parents were deeply impressed by the care, support, and goodies he received. Following the discussion, Arno was included in the list for George Smile Week, leaving his parents genuinely pleased with the arrangement. Arno is now thriving, displaying a cheerful demeanour and healthy progress, particularly in his ability to drink.
