WE HAVE ANOTHER POSTER GIRL AT TYGERBERG HOSPITAL

Sharlita, the youngest member of the Cloete family from Porterville, has embarked on a remarkable journey. Diagnosed with Craniosynostosis, a condition where a baby’s skull bones fuse prematurely, Sharlita’s family sought corrective surgery to ensure her well-being. Despite challenges and setbacks, including missed appointments and hospital bed shortages, Sharlita finally underwent surgery on February 20th.

Post-surgery, Sharlita’s spirits remain high. She charms everyone she meets, engaging with medical staff, fellow patients, and even exploring the hospital corridors. Though still in recovery, Sharlita’s lively personality shines through, filling her family with pride and gratitude. Through it all, her mother, Sharlene, expresses immense gratitude to the Smile Team and the medical staff for their continuous support and care.

This is our lovely poster girl with her poster, Mom is so proud of this special memory and will forever treasure this poster and explain everything to Sharlita when she gets older.
